NSR, Inc. was established in 2016, building on a foundation of family-operated revegetation planning, farming, and ranching enterprises that date back to 1978, all while enhancing ecosystem function and promoting soil health.
Kate Graves is a Colorado State University graduate with degrees in Soil & Crop Sciences and Rangeland Science, and more than 25 years of experience in reclamation, revegetation planning, and environmental stewardship. Her career spans mining, oil and gas, energy and water development, agriculture, and open space projects across Northern Colorado.
A native of the northern Front Range, Kate brings a practical, land-based perspective shaped by family ranching and reclamation operations, regulatory and industry experience, and leadership in environmental consulting. Her professional focus centers on soil health, native grasses, and ecosystem function, with an emphasis on connecting landowners, industry, and field crews through clear communication and applied restoration education.

We guide landowners and project owners through every phase of revegetation planning— to achieve long-term success. Our services include developing practical, site-specific plans that incorporate native grass and support pollinators, connecting clients with trusted contractors, and providing ongoing monitoring and maintenance guidance. Our goal is to foster healthy soils, resilient native vegetation, and sustainable landscapes that align with landowner objectives and meet regulatory requirements.
